It is my goal to provide enriching, academically charged classes that offer numerous points of entry to reach all students. Every lesson has built in assessment tools to measure success and to make changes to address students needs.
I have a Masters of Art Education from the University of MN with an emphasis on special education. I have been teaching for over 25 years and write each lesson plan using my experience and knowledge of: Discipline Based Art Education, Universal Design for Learning, Differential Instruction, Understanding by Design, and incorporate knowledge from other core content areas.
